Terms and Conditions

Rhansoh · Last Updated: 5 November 2026

1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

“Rhansoh”, “we” and “us” mean Rhansoh Tailoring Service Platform, the business that operates the Platform, as identified in Section 29.

“Platform” means the Rhansoh website at rhansoh.com.ng and any related web or mobile application.

“Terms” means these Terms and Conditions.

“User” means any Customer or Tailor, and any other person who uses the Platform.

“Customer” means an individual or entity that uses Rhansoh to discover, contact, or place an Order with a Tailor.

“Tailor” means an individual or tailoring business registered on Rhansoh to offer tailoring-related services.

“Order” means a request submitted by a Customer to a Tailor for the provision of tailoring services, whether submitted directly to a chosen Tailor or arising from a Customer's selection of a winning Bid on a Marketplace Listing.

“Marketplace Listing” means a request posted by a Customer describing tailoring work they want done, including a description, budget, and desired delivery date, which Tailors may respond to with a Bid rather than being contacted directly.

“Bid” means an offer submitted by a Tailor in response to a Marketplace Listing, including a proposed price and delivery date, which a Customer may select to create an Order with that Tailor.

“Transaction” means a payment made in connection with an Order through or facilitated by the Platform.

“Completed Transaction” means a Transaction relating to an Order that has been successfully fulfilled and for which the applicable payment has been successfully processed, subject to Rhansoh's applicable transaction and dispute policies.

“Commission” means the percentage of a Completed Transaction payable to Rhansoh.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using Rhansoh, you confirm that:

  1. You have read and understood these Terms.
  2. You agree to comply with these Terms.
  3. You will provide accurate and truthful information.
  4. You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18.
  5. You will use Rhansoh only for lawful purposes.
  6. You will not use the Platform to engage in fraud, deception, abuse, or other unlawful activity.

Rhansoh may update these Terms from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes through the Platform or by email before they take effect.

If you continue to use the Platform after an updated version becomes effective, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the Platform and close your account.

3. Rhansoh's Role

Rhansoh provides a digital platform intended to facilitate connections and transactions between Customers and Tailors.

Rhansoh is not itself the Tailor providing tailoring services unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Tailor is responsible for:

  • The quality of tailoring services provided.
  • Accuracy of measurements.
  • Materials used.
  • Design execution.
  • Delivery or collection of completed garments.
  • Meeting agreed delivery dates.
  • Communication with the Customer.
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, measurements, design requirements, and other information necessary for an Order.

4. Account Registration

Users may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Not share your account with another person.
  • Immediately notify Rhansoh of suspected unauthorized access.
  • Maintain accurate account information.

Rhansoh may ask you to verify your email address and, where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or comply with the law, other information about your identity. Tailors must provide payout bank details that are accurate and that they are entitled to use.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from unauthorized access that was not reasonably attributable to your actions or negligence.

Rhansoh reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive information.

5. Tailor Responsibilities

Tailors using Rhansoh agree to:

  1. Provide accurate business and personal information.
  2. Display genuine services, designs, photographs, and portfolio materials.
  3. Provide accurate pricing information where required.
  4. Communicate honestly with Customers.
  5. Accept Orders, and submit Bids on Marketplace Listings, only when they are reasonably able to fulfil them.
  6. Honour agreed prices and specifications, subject to legitimate changes agreed with the Customer.
  7. Make reasonable efforts to meet agreed delivery dates.
  8. Maintain professional conduct.
  9. Not request or encourage Customers to circumvent Rhansoh's applicable transaction system in order to avoid Rhansoh fees.
  10. Resolve legitimate Customer complaints in good faith.
  11. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Tailors are independent persons or businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Rhansoh. Each Tailor is responsible for their own taxes, licences, registrations, and other legal obligations arising from their business.

Rhansoh may investigate complaints relating to Tailors and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where appropriate.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information.
  • Provide accurate measurements where required.
  • Provide clear design instructions and references.
  • Communicate respectfully with Tailors.
  • Make payments using approved payment methods.
  • Review Order details before confirming an Order.
  • Avoid submitting fraudulent or malicious Orders or Marketplace Listings.
  • Use the Marketplace Listing and Bid selection features in good faith, and not post Marketplace Listings without a genuine intention of selecting a Tailor, or repeatedly cancel Marketplace Listings in a manner that wastes Tailors' time.
  • Notify the Tailor and/or Rhansoh promptly where an issue occurs.
  • Not use Rhansoh to circumvent applicable fees.

Customers acknowledge that tailoring is a service that may involve variations in fabric, measurements, design interpretation, and finished appearance.

7. Orders

An Order may be created in one of two ways:

  • directly, where a Customer selects a specific Tailor and submits an Order to them; or
  • through the Marketplace, where a Customer posts a Marketplace Listing, one or more Tailors submit a Bid, and the Customer selects a winning Bid.

An Order may contain information including:

  • Selected Tailor.
  • Design or style reference.
  • Measurements.
  • Quantity.
  • Price.
  • Delivery date.
  • Customer notes.
  • Other specifications agreed between the Customer and Tailor.

Where an Order arises from a selected Bid, the price and delivery date are those quoted in the winning Bid, and a Tailor must still confirm the Order (including their own account/payment details) before it is treated as accepted.

Customers should carefully review Order details before confirmation.

Once an Order has been accepted by a Tailor, changes may require the Tailor's approval and may result in additional charges.

8. Pricing

The price of an Order is determined by the applicable Tailor unless otherwise stated by Rhansoh. Where an Order arises from the Marketplace, the price is the amount quoted in the Tailor's Bid, which the Tailor is expected to honour once the Customer selects it and the Tailor confirms the Order.

Tailors are responsible for ensuring that their displayed prices and Bids are accurate.

Additional costs, including materials, alterations, delivery, or other services, should be communicated to the Customer before they are incurred where reasonably possible.

9. Rhansoh Transaction Commission

Rhansoh charges a commission on successfully completed transactions facilitated through the Platform. The rate depends on whether the transaction is within Nigeria or crosses Nigerian borders.

Nigerian Transactions

Where the Customer and the Tailor are both in Nigeria, Rhansoh's commission is:

5% of the Completed Transaction value.

International Transactions

Where a transaction crosses Nigerian borders (that is, the Customer or the Tailor is outside Nigeria), Rhansoh's commission is:

9% of the Completed Transaction value.

The applicable commission is deducted from the amount payable to the Tailor. The commission does not include payment gateway and network processing charges. Those charges are paid by the Customer, on top of the Order price, and are shown at checkout before the Customer pays. They are never deducted from the Tailor's share.

Where Value Added Tax or any other tax applies to Rhansoh's commission or services, it will be applied as required by law. Each Tailor remains responsible for their own taxes on the income they earn.

Example

For a completed Nigerian transaction of ₦50,000:

Rhansoh commission = 5% × ₦50,000 = ₦2,500. The Tailor receives ₦47,500. The Customer also pays the network charge on top of ₦50,000.

For an international transaction equivalent to ₦50,000:

Rhansoh commission = 9% × ₦50,000 = ₦4,500. The Tailor receives ₦45,500. The Customer also pays the network charge on top of the equivalent of ₦50,000.

Currency-conversion, banking, withdrawal, tax, or other third-party charges not covered by the description above are separate from Rhansoh's commission unless expressly stated otherwise.

Escrow and Release of Funds

When a Customer pays for an Order, the payment is collected through our payment partner and held by Rhansoh pending completion, rather than being paid to the Tailor immediately. Funds held in this way are not a bank deposit and do not earn interest for any party. Held funds become available for release when:

  1. the Tailor marks the Order as delivered; and
  2. the Customer confirms the Order as completed, or 3 days pass after the Tailor marks the Order as delivered without the Customer confirming it or raising an issue, in which case the Order is treated as completed automatically.

Once the Order is completed, Rhansoh aims to release the Tailor's share (the Completed Transaction value less Rhansoh's commission) within 2 days. Release may be made manually or automatically, depending on the payout method available at the time. Where the Customer paid with a card issued outside Nigeria, the payment can take up to 5 business days to reach Rhansoh, and the release may take correspondingly longer.

If the Customer raises an issue or a dispute or refund request is open, the funds stay held until the matter is resolved under Sections 12 and 13.

10. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

By making a payment through Rhansoh, you agree to comply with the applicable terms and conditions of the payment provider.

Rhansoh does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party payment services.

A payment may be subject to:

  • Payment-processing (network) fees, which are paid by the Customer on top of the Order price.
  • Currency-conversion charges.
  • Banking charges.
  • Withdrawal charges.
  • International transaction charges.
  • Applicable taxes or statutory charges.

The payment-processing fee is shown at checkout before payment is completed. Other charges, where they apply, may also be displayed before payment.

Card details are entered with the payment provider. Rhansoh does not store your full card details.

Rhansoh may delay, withhold, or refuse a payment or payout, and may ask for identity information, where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or to comply with Nigerian anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism-financing, or other applicable law.

11. International Transactions and Currency

International transactions may be processed in currencies supported by Rhansoh or its payment partners.

Where a transaction involves currency conversion:

  • The applicable exchange rate may be determined by the payment provider.
  • The final amount received may differ from an estimated converted amount.
  • Currency-conversion fees may apply.

The 9% Rhansoh commission applies to transactions that cross Nigerian borders, as specified in Section 9.

12. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations may depend on:

  • The status of the Order.
  • Whether work has already commenced.
  • Materials already purchased.
  • The reason for cancellation.
  • The agreement between the Customer and Tailor.
  • Applicable payment-provider rules.
  • Applicable law.

A Customer should contact the Tailor as soon as possible when requesting cancellation of an Order. If the matter is not resolved, the Customer may submit a refund request to Rhansoh through the Platform.

Cancelling a Marketplace Listing

A Customer may cancel a Marketplace Listing at any time while it remains open, including while a Bid is selected and awaiting a Tailor's confirmation. Cancelling at this stage does not create an Order and no charge applies. Once a Tailor has confirmed a selected Bid, a binding Order exists and further changes are handled under this Section 12 and Section 7, not as a Marketplace Listing cancellation.

Duplicate Payments

If you are charged more than once for the same Order, Rhansoh will refund the extra payment, normally automatically. The payment network charge on that extra payment is deducted from the refund. It can take a few days to reach your account. Where an automatic refund is not possible, an administrator will handle it.

How Refund Requests Are Decided

Refund requests are reviewed and decided by a Rhansoh administrator, based on the information and evidence provided by both parties. Rhansoh will act fairly and in good faith.

Where Rhansoh approves a refund, it will be processed through the original payment method where technically possible. The payment network charge the Customer paid at checkout goes to the payment provider and is not refunded. Other third-party payment fees may also not be recoverable. Where Rhansoh approves a refund, Rhansoh does not keep its commission on that Order.

Nothing in this Section limits any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable law.

13. Disputes Between Customers and Tailors

Customers and Tailors are primarily responsible for resolving disputes concerning an Order.

Examples include:

  • Poor workmanship.
  • Incorrect measurements.
  • Delayed delivery.
  • Incorrect design.
  • Missing items.
  • Disagreements concerning price.
  • Failure to fulfil an Order.

Rhansoh may review relevant information and assist with dispute resolution where appropriate.

Rhansoh may request:

  • Order information.
  • Payment records.
  • Messages.
  • Photographs.
  • Design references.
  • Delivery information.
  • Other relevant evidence.

Because Rhansoh holds the payment until an Order is completed, it will decide whether held funds are released to the Tailor or refunded to the Customer, based on the evidence provided. This decision concerns only the funds held through the Platform. It does not stop either party from pursuing any other remedy available under law.

Requests for the Other Party's Details

Rhansoh does not give one user another user's location or address on request. If you are in a dispute and need the other party's details, you may ask Rhansoh to share them. Rhansoh will first ask you for legal documents, such as a police report or court document and a valid government ID. A senior Rhansoh administrator will review them.

If the request is approved, Rhansoh may share only the name and the address on the other party's profile, and an approximate location worked out from their internet connection, which may be inaccurate. It never shares a precise device location. Access lasts for a limited time. The other party will be told that their details were shared.

You must use shared details only for the dispute or the related legal process. Any other use, including harassment, threats, or visiting the person without lawful reason, is prohibited and may lead to account closure and legal action. Rhansoh may refuse a request.

Rhansoh's involvement in a dispute does not make Rhansoh a party to the underlying tailoring contract unless expressly stated otherwise.

14. Reviews and Ratings

Rhansoh may allow Customers to rate and review Tailors.

Reviews should be:

  • Honest.
  • Relevant.
  • Based on genuine experiences.
  • Respectful.
  • Free from threats, harassment, or discriminatory content.

Users must not:

  • Create fake reviews.
  • Pay for positive reviews.
  • Threaten another user with a negative review.
  • Manipulate ratings.
  • Post reviews on behalf of another person.

Rhansoh may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable policies.

15. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use Rhansoh to:

  1. Commit fraud.
  2. Impersonate another person.
  3. Submit false information.
  4. Conduct unlawful transactions.
  5. Upload malicious software.
  6. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account.
  7. Abuse, harass, threaten, or defame other users.
  8. Upload content that infringes another person's intellectual-property rights.
  9. Circumvent Rhansoh's transaction fees through deceptive means.
  10. Post Marketplace Listings or submit Bids in bad faith, including listings with no genuine intent to select a Tailor, or Bids with no genuine intent to fulfil them.
  11. Provide a false country, or use technical means to hide or falsify your location, in order to get around restrictions on the Platform or to defraud another user.
  12. Use the Platform for activities prohibited by applicable law, including Nigerian laws on fraud, cybercrime, and money laundering.

Rhansoh may suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.

16. Off-Platform Transactions

Rhansoh is designed to facilitate transactions between Customers and Tailors through the Platform.

Users must not deliberately move a transaction off-platform for the purpose of avoiding applicable Rhansoh fees or defeating Platform safeguards.

Where Rhansoh reasonably determines that a user is systematically attempting to circumvent transaction fees, Rhansoh may suspend or terminate the user's account.

This provision does not prevent users from communicating or conducting legitimate activities outside Rhansoh where permitted by applicable law and the parties' agreements.

17. Intellectual Property

Rhansoh's name, logo, website, software, interface, designs, graphics, text, and other Platform materials are owned by or licensed to Rhansoh unless otherwise stated.

Users retain ownership of content they upload, subject to the rights granted to Rhansoh under these Terms.

By uploading photographs, designs, descriptions, or other content, you grant Rhansoh a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in routine backups for a limited time or needed for an Order, dispute, or legal obligation.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload the content.

18. Privacy and Personal Information

Rhansoh is responsible for the personal data it collects through the Platform and processes it in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable data-protection law.

What We Collect

  • Account and registration details (such as name, email address, phone number, country, state, and address).
  • Customer and Tailor profile information.
  • Measurements and design references.
  • Orders, Marketplace Listings, Bids, and appointments.
  • Payment records, such as payment status and references from our payment provider.
  • Messages and communications on the Platform.
  • Reviews and ratings.
  • Technical and usage information, including your IP address, device and browser details, and login times. We use cookies and similar technologies, for example to keep you signed in.
  • Your precise device location, only if you choose to share it (see below).

Why We Use It

  • To provide the Platform and carry out Orders and payments (performance of our agreement with you).
  • To prevent fraud, keep users safe, resolve disputes, and meet our legal obligations (our legitimate interests and legal obligations).
  • To send you notifications or other optional features, where you have agreed (your consent).

IP Address and Location

We record your IP address when you sign up, log in, and start a payment, and we work out an approximate country and city from it. We use this to detect fraud, protect users, investigate disputes, and comply with the law. An IP-based location is approximate and can be wrong, so it is not treated as proof on its own.

We also remember the browsers you sign in from, using a cookie, so that we can notify you when your account is used from a device we have not seen before. You can clear this cookie in your browser at any time. If you do, you may be notified the next time you sign in.

We may restrict registration, payment, or other use of the Platform from certain countries, for legal or risk reasons. Administrators can still sign in.

Location and Distance

Customers: when you tap "Show the nearest to me first" while choosing a Tailor, your browser asks for your location. We use it once, to work out how far each Tailor is from you, and we do not store it.

Tailors: you may save your shop's location in your settings. We store it to show Customers how far your shop is. Customers see only the distance, never the coordinates. Rhansoh administrators can see it. You can update or remove it at any time in your settings.

Separately, we may ask for your precise device location. This is optional and only happens if you allow it through your browser or device prompt. If you refuse, you can still use the Platform normally. You can withdraw your permission at any time in your browser or device settings. Precise device positions are visible only to authorised Rhansoh administrators, every such view is logged, and the positions are deleted after 12 months. We use them only to investigate fraud, safety concerns, disputes, or legal requests.

Who We Share It With

  • The other party to an Order, to the extent needed for it (for example, a Tailor you choose receives your delivery details and the measurements you attach).
  • Service providers that help us run the Platform, such as payment, email, hosting, and notification providers.
  • Courts, regulators, and law-enforcement agencies, where the law requires or allows it.
  • The other party to a dispute, but only after Rhansoh reviews legal documents and approves, as described in Section 13.

We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers Outside Nigeria

Some of our service providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps so that your data stays protected as required by law.

How Long We Keep It

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as is needed for Orders, disputes, security and fraud prevention, and legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Precise device positions are deleted after 12 months.

Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or give you a copy of it. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To use these rights, contact us using the details in Section 29. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. If a data breach affects you, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and affected users within the time the law requires.

Children

The Platform is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Other People's Information

Users should not upload sensitive personal information belonging to another person without appropriate authorization.

19. Measurements and Design Information

Customers may store measurements and design information on Rhansoh.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that measurements they provide are accurate to the best of their knowledge.

A measurement attached to a Marketplace Listing is not shown to Tailors while they are bidding; it is only shared with the Tailor whose Bid the Customer selects.

Tailors are responsible for reviewing measurements and confirming any measurements they require before beginning work.

Rhansoh does not guarantee that measurements submitted through the Platform will produce a particular garment fit.

20. Delivery

Where delivery is arranged between a Customer and Tailor, the parties are responsible for agreeing on:

  • Delivery method.
  • Delivery location.
  • Delivery cost.
  • Expected delivery date.
  • Responsibility for loss or damage during delivery.

Where Rhansoh partners with a third-party delivery provider, that provider may have its own terms.

21. Platform Availability

Rhansoh will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available and functional.

However, Rhansoh does not guarantee that:

  • The Platform will always be available.
  • The Platform will always be error-free.
  • Payments will never fail.
  • Third-party services will always be available.
  • Information will always be displayed without interruption.

Maintenance, technical problems, internet outages, security incidents, and third-party failures may temporarily affect the Platform.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rhansoh will not be responsible for losses arising solely from:

  • The acts or omissions of a Customer or Tailor.
  • Poor-quality tailoring services.
  • Incorrect measurements supplied by a Customer.
  • Delayed delivery caused by a Tailor or third party.
  • Disputes between Customers and Tailors.
  • Third-party payment-provider failures.
  • Internet or telecommunications failures.
  • Unauthorized use of an account resulting from the user's failure to protect their credentials.

Rhansoh remains responsible for its own negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct, and for the proper handling of funds it holds under Section 9.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

23. Account Suspension and Termination

Rhansoh may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where:

  • These Terms have been violated.
  • Fraud is suspected.
  • A user poses a security risk.
  • A user repeatedly receives legitimate complaints.
  • The Platform, including the Marketplace Listing and Bid features, is being abused.
  • The user attempts to circumvent applicable fees.
  • Required by law or a competent authority.

Where reasonably possible, Rhansoh will notify the user of the reason for suspension or termination, and the user may contact us to respond.

Where fraud, a legal requirement, or an open dispute is involved, Rhansoh may hold funds linked to the account until the matter is resolved or the law allows release. Funds that are properly due will then be paid out or refunded.

24. Termination by User

Users may stop using Rhansoh at any time.

Where an account is closed, outstanding Orders, Marketplace Listings, payments, disputes, refunds, or other obligations may continue to be processed where necessary.

Closing an account does not automatically eliminate obligations that arose before closure.

You may ask us to delete your personal data when you close your account. We will do so as described in Section 18, except for records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons.

25. Third-Party Services

Rhansoh may integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Payment processors.
  • Email providers.
  • Hosting providers.
  • Mapping services.
  • Communication services.
  • Delivery providers.

Rhansoh is not responsible for the independent policies, availability, or actions of third-party services.

26. Changes to Rhansoh

Rhansoh may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Platform.

We may change our fees. We will give reasonable notice through the Platform or by email before a fee change takes effect. A fee change applies only to Orders created after it takes effect, and does not change the commission on an Order already paid for.

27. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to users in their respective jurisdictions.

For international transactions, applicable mandatory consumer-protection or other legal rights may continue to apply where required by law.

Subject to those rights, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

28. Dispute Resolution

Rhansoh encourages users to first attempt to resolve disputes through communication and good-faith negotiation.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue any dispute-resolution mechanism available under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived, or from making a complaint to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or another competent authority.

29. Contacting Rhansoh

For questions, complaints, or support relating to these Terms or the Platform, users may contact:

30. Acceptance and General Provisions

By creating an account, placing an Order, posting or bidding on a Marketplace Listing, accepting an Order, making a payment, or otherwise using Rhansoh, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms continues to apply. If Rhansoh does not enforce a provision straight away, that does not mean it has given up its right to do so later.

Effective Date: 5 November 2026
